We invite you to join us for photographer Sam Norval’s first solo exhibition. Sam has partnered with a host of prolific artists to show the intersection between Urban Art and Photography. Grit seeks to speak to the essence of what it means to be an icon in todays society. The original images come from Sam’s “Flag Series” in which the likes of Usher, Rick Ross, 50 Cent, Ludacris, Future, as well as other hip hop pioneers are captured posing and interacting with an American flag. This type of multi layered collaboration  is meant to enhance the subjects “captured” self while incoporating the energy and vision of the collaborator. Grit truly exemplifies the merger of icons and the passion it takes to stay true to ones art form.
