The background for this piece is layers of metal flake and acrylic paint protected under a luminescent resin finish on a 24 inch by 30 inch canvas. Mike's incredible technique allows this painting to replicate the sensation of the northern lights and shift color between green and blue as light hits it.

Mike designed a substantial amount of artwork for Alec Monopoly for almost 5 years, creating hundreds of pieces for him. Mike is a street artist from way back in the 70's. He became a Professional Illustrator and Product Designer in the 1980's and has illustrated over 100 licensed Kids Books with Disney, Warner, Ninja Turtles, and dozens more.
