The background for this piece is layered vintage title deeds, money, chance and community chest cards, all from a rare 1935 monopoly set; protected under a luminescent resin finish on a 12 inch by 12 inch canvas. This piece is also Mike's first left facing 1x1 monopoly. 

Mike designed a substantial amount of artwork for Alec Monopoly for almost 5 years, creating hundreds of pieces for him. Mike is a street artist from way back in the 70's. He became a Professional Illustrator and Product Designer in the 1980's and has illustrated over 100 licensed Kids Books with Disney, Warner, Ninja Turtles, and dozens more.
